FloatLink: Hybrid Aerial & Underground FTTH
Project FloatLink blends aerial speed with underground durability across Pretoria North. Uses water‑based floating for tough ducts – not to be confused with air jetting. Future‑proof FTTH for suburban & semi‑rural zones.

Technology and Equipment
- We operated the Jetting V2 machine to physically “float” fiber cables through tough underground ducts using water-based pressure for Project FloatLink.
- We managed the heavy setup and manual handling of the pneumatic equipment to ensure the cable moved smoothly through congested routes across Pretoria North.
- Our team closely controlled the joystick and monitored the feed to navigate the hybrid aerial and underground terrain without damaging the infrastructure.
